Professional Triathlete Income Survey

Our Annual Survey assesses the cash income from sponsors, alongside other non-financial support from sponsors, race winnings and sports funding obtained by the UK’s professional triathletes. Our survey is based on a significant number of respondents across the professional scene. It includes established athletes racing Olympics (London & Rio), World Triathlon Series, World Cups, Ironman, Super League and Challenge races, as well as early career professionals looking to develop a living doing the sport they love. This information is invaluable in our work advising athletes on opportunities for them to work with sports and corporate brands.

Major Events Bidding – British Triathlon Championships and Age Group Qualifiers

Interval provided bid strategy and bid delivery services to a number of event management companies bidding to British Triathlon to host Major Events on the 2018 Race Calendar. This included bids for British and National Championships as well as GB Age-Group Team Qualification events for World (ITU) and European (ETU) Championship finals in triathlon and duathlon. Interval reviewed the proposed events against British Triathlon’s requirements, including a review of all previous bids made, before preparing a “Plan to Win”. Bids were then prepared to meet British Triathlon's requirements outlining the key unique features of each event and how it met and often surpassed the criteria. Interval was able to focus on the bids during the period leading to submission in July 2018, which is a very busy period for the event organisers. All bids prepared by Interval for the 2018 Major Events Programme were successful.

Mike’s help in the bid preparation for the BTF/ITU/ETU Major Events programme was focused and kept us ahead of deadlines in what was a very busy time for us. We were successful in all of our bids which was great.
